Dues and Fees

When you joined this Association you agreed to pay all membership dues and fees as established by the Board of Directors.

NAR Code of Ethics      

You have to thoroughly familiarize yourself with the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®, including the duty to arbitrate business disputes  in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual of the Williamson County Association of REALTORS®, the Texas Association of REALTORS®and the National Association of REALTORS®.

Newly sponsored Agents

Every newly sponsored agent has to join the Association within 30 days of sponsorship date. Please have them contact Linda Hall to set up an appointment to register. As a Designated REALTOR®you are responsible for dues for any real estate licensee for whom you hold a license. It is your responsibility to provide WCAOR with a list of these agents and of any changes.

New Member Orientation and Code of Ethics Training

The following are required to attend the Orientation and Code of Ethics Training within 120 days after applying for membership:     

• All newly licensed agents

• All agents and brokers that have never been a member of a board

• All agents and brokers that have been inactive for several years or have never taken the NAR Code of Ethics training

During the application process they will be registered for the next available class. Failure to attend the training within 120 days will result in termination of membership. To show your support to your new agents please come to the induction ceremony after the Code of Ethics Training (4:00 P.M.) The next Orientation and Code of Ethics Training dates are: September 23. 2010 & November 12, 2010.

Termination of Agents

Please complete the “Termination of Sponsorship” form anytime one of your agents is leaving your firm.  Many times agents forget to contact us about changing brokers. Getting the “Termination of Sponsorship” form would help us keep the records up to date.

Verification of Members

To prepare for the next billing cycle we will be sending a verification letter in September, with a listing of all the sponsored agents in your firm. Please return the list with all the changes as soon as possible.

Membership Dues

The statements for the WCAOR Membership Dues will be posted online on November 1st to the individual REALTORS® within your office.  These dues are due Dec. 15.  Payments may be made online by credit card, by mailing your payment or come see us to pay your dues.
